Terms of Service: Technical services, equipment attendances, statutory surveys, and spares delivered by Seanav Marine Pvt Ltd are governed by these standard commercial terms. All attendances are scheduled based on vessel ETA, port accessibility, and safety clearances.

1. Scope of Marine Services

Seanav Marine Pvt Ltd delivers technical marine electronics engineering, navigation equipment maintenance, automation diagnostics, and statutory Class survey coordination across commercial ports in India.

2. Attendance & Boarding Conditions

  • Port & Security Permissions: Shipowners, managers, or local vessel agents are responsible for arranging port entry permits, immigration clearances, and customs passes for Seanav engineers unless explicitly quoted as part of attendance logistics.
  • Anchorage & OPL Attendance: For outer anchorage or off-port-limit (OPL) attendances, suitable launch boats complying with local maritime safety standards must be provided or arranged by mutual agreement.
  • Waiting Time & Delays: Standby time resulting from vessel delays, unready cargo berths, or bunkering conflicts beyond the confirmed schedule will be billed at agreed hourly demurrage rates.

3. Equipment Spares & Warranty

All marine electronics spares (magnetrons, gyrospheres, circuit boards, acoustic beacons) supplied by Seanav Marine are OEM or certified equivalent parts covered by manufacturer warranties. Standard warranty covers defects in material and workmanship for 90 days from the date of onboard installation, provided operating parameters meet OEM specifications.

4. Limitation of Liability

Seanav Marine exercises reasonable technical skill and diligence. Liability for any direct loss or damage arising out of technical service execution is limited to the contract invoice value of the attendance. In no event shall Seanav Marine be liable for consequential losses, vessel off-hire, port demurrage, or charter penalties.

5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms and all commercial agreements entered into with Seanav Marine Pvt Ltd shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, under the exclusive jurisdiction of the commercial courts of Mumbai / Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.
