🔧 Job Overview:
Seanav Marine is hiring a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer – NAVCOM (Navigation & Communication) to join our dynamic service team in the UAE, covering Dubai. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals with a strong marine electronics background who are ready to take on diverse onboard technical challenges.
As a Service Engineer – NAVCOM, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting of marine navigation and communication systems onboard vessels. You will also ensure all service-related documentation is completed with accuracy and professionalism.
🚀 Key Responsibilities:

Install, commission, and troubleshoot marine navigation and communication equipment onboard ships

Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair tasks as per manufacturer and company standards

Prepare detailed service reports, installation records, and warranty documentation
-
Manage and update service logs for completed work including preventive maintenance activities
-
Coordinate with service coordinators and clients for job execution

Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations during onboard operations
✅ What We’re Looking For:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering OR Diploma in a relevant field
-
4–5 years of relevant experience as a Marine Service Engineer
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in the GCC region (UAE preferred)
-
Strong technical understanding of marine electronics, NAVCOM systems, and related standards
-
Familiarity with maritime service operations and vessel procedures
-
GMDSS General Operator Certificate (GOC) – Optional but preferred
-
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently onboard
-
Good communication and reporting skills
-
Valid UAE Driving License – Preferred
