🔧 Job Overview:
Seanav Marine is hiring a skilled and experienced Service Engineer – Automation for our Dubai operations. This position involves hands-on servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of marine Electrical & Automation (E&A) equipment onboard vessels. The role demands a deep understanding of marine systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
🚀 Key Responsibilities:

Perform service, repair, and maintenance of Electrical & Automation equipment onboard vessels

Interpret and work from electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics
-
Diagnose and troubleshoot various marine boiler systems including Mitsubishi, Aalborg, Kangrim, Miura, SAACKE, etc.

Calibrate and service field instruments such as transmitters, positioners, controllers, etc.

Respond to breakdowns and perform unplanned maintenance with a focus on rapid resolution

Maintain up-to-date and accurate service logs, internal records, and client reports
-
Execute general tasks including testing, quality checks, and technical troubleshooting
-
Identify sales leads during onboard visits, such as equipment requiring replacement or upgrades
-
Communicate boarding and disembarkation details to technical manager and coordination team
-
Keep internal teams updated on job progress, completion status, and client feedback

Support technical managers in training, product selection, estimation, and documentation
✅ What We’re Looking For:

Degree/Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Automation Engineering
-
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in PLC programming / SCADA systems
-
Hands-on experience with marine automation systems and instruments
-
Ability to independently handle service jobs and troubleshoot complex issues onboard
-
Excellent understanding of marine boilers and field instrumentation
-
Strong documentation and reporting skills
-
UAE Driving License is a plus
-
Immediate joiners will be given preference

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics / Automation Engineering
